Vanessa Heaslip: Experiences of vulnerability from a Gypsy/travelling perspective: a phenomenological study

My interests lie in enabling others to have their voices heard in the professional discourse, especially those whose voices have been traditionally marginalised, and the humanisation theory provides a framework to present the contrasting viewpoint. My current PhD is exploring “experiences of vulnerability from a Gypsy/Travelling perspective” a group which are traditionally dehumanised in many ways in both health and social care and the PhD aims to present the contrasting perspective of their hidden voices.
