Modelling and animation of virtual humans
Xiangyu is researching into modelling and animation of virtual humans in the field of computer graphics. Current main stream techniques of polygon, NURBS and subdivision have the problems of large data size and low realism of virtual human modelling and animation. The research aims to address these issues. It will be achieved by combining physics-based modelling and animation with data-driven approaches, and implementing the developed method into a software suite for applications.
Xiangyu complete his secondary education at Bournemouth School, obtained his BSc degree from University of Warwick, UK and MSc degree from Coventry, UK. He is currently working for Accenture, a company among Fortune Global 500 which focuses on consulting, technology services and outsourcing.
