NATO training delivered by SciTech Psychologist

Last week Associate Professor Jacqui Taylor delivered two lectures as part of a 4 week NATO Strategic Communications training programme at the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence in Riga, Latvia.

Based on her research and teaching experience in Cyberpsychology, Jacqui delivered lectures that covered the impacts of social media on online perceptions and behavior and highlighted the importance of social psychology in understanding online groups. The course was attended by twenty representatives from North America and across Europe and involved intelligence analysts and military and defense personnel.
