Digital Addiction Research Presented at HCSE’16 – Stockholm

PhD Researcher Amen Alrobai delivered a well received presentation at the 6th International Working Conference on Human-Centred Software Engineering.

This conference was held in Stockholm, Sweden, between the 29th and 31st of August 2016. The presentation explored the requirements and design of persuasive intervention technology to combat digital addiction. The talk highlighted issues and challenges facing the development of such a technology and which require revising classical software engineering methods and increasing the inter-disciplinary nature.

This work is linked to the Digital Addiction project currently being undertaken by the Engineering of Social Informatics Research Group (ESOTICS).
