David began by asking participants to complete a test to identify the roles they each take within a teamworking scenario. This sparked a lively discussion, identifying how different people are and as such they naturally play different roles in a team. When this is recognised, usually the team dynamic will change for the better as team members become more aware of each others strengths and weaknesses.
This then led on to team development, which included exploring ‘Forming, Storming, Norming, Performing, Adjourning and Next Steps’. This demonstrated ways in which team dynamics naturally progress through a project.
