New BUCRU-supported research project commences that aims to improve nurse retention

On June 1st 2017, an exciting two-year research project commenced within Bournemouth University’s Faculty of Health & Social Sciences. Led by Dr Janet Scammell, working alongside Professor Stephen Tee and BUCRU’s Dr Sharon Docherty, in collaboration with Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch NHS Foundation Trust, the project will test an innovative evidence-based model for improving nurse retention.

Dr Sharon Docherty’s involvement in this project exemplifies the BUCRU model of helping to both support and conduct health-related research across Bournemouth University and the local NHS Trusts.

Full details of the project can be found here.
