Dr Lamprini Rori, an expert on right-wing extremism and radicalism and Marie-Curie fellow in the Faculty of Media and Communication, has participated in a conversation about radicalism in contemporary Greece, directed by Arthur Versluis. The conversation has been published in the current issue of Journal for the Study of Radicalism.
Greece has often been in the news over the last few years because of the economic challenges it faces, but these kinds of stories sometimes only offer a superficial account of what is really going on in Greek society. The conversation brought together a number of experts in Greek political science and history to talk about radicalism in Greece and how different kinds of radicalism may relate to economic, social and political upheaval.
