Exactly one week after the Greek election, the Greek Politics Specialist Group of the UK’s Political Studies Association (PSA) has put together and published their 4th post-election pamphlet titled “First thoughts on the 25 January 2015 election in Greece“. Founded by Dr. Roman Gerodimos, the Principal Lecturer in Global Current Affairs in the Media School at Bournemouth University, within just a few years the GPSG has become a leading international network of social scientists with an interest in Greece, as well as one of the PSA’s largest and most active groups.
Through the organisation of conference panels and events, both independently and in collaboration with affiliate organisations and groups, the GPSG has a strong record of supporting research on Greek politics. It also actively supports young researchers presenting their work to international audiences through financial support and advice. Almost 90% of the Group’s funds have gone directly to supporting scholars – especially junior academics and researchers from regional universities.
The post-election pamphlet, which you can now access and read online, includes contributions from 52 political scientists, established scholars and young researchers.
